Amy Pontius (née Vagi) was born in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. A high school and middle school educator for 22 years, she loved writing alongside her students and encouraging a passion for words.

Amy is the author of a children’s book, Molly the Mockingbird, and is currently at work on a memoir. Amy’s work has been published by Kaleidoscope WoJo™, Press 53, Gulf Coast Writers Association, and Bacopa Literary Review.

She lives with her family in Fort Myers, Florida.
